I almost spit out my beer when I saw the answer staring me in the face! At first I thought the riddle was giving me the middle finger, but then I tried it and now I'm on 48. Awesome!

Just got it today

I blame late hours for not seeing what I needed to see on that grid clearly enough.

39 was clever. On to 40.

I'm pretty sure I know what to do with the grid. But I don't think I have anything to use it with.
