No, the four clues are indeed used only to find the pattern. Nothing else.

A little hint for those who is still stuck and not familiar with English: try one of the tools in the help page.

i've read all the posts in this thread and im still stuck at trying to figure out the pattern!

can the pattern be solved without using the chessboards? and does it apply to the 2 things differently???

EDIT: found the pattern FINALLY!!

Help!

I think I've find the pattern. And I also got the trick in the chessboard. But still have no idea about the "similarity". Does the word hide in the chess pieces?

someone please help me ... im stuck on this level ... i found the four formulas and the second image .. but didnt find the "SIMILARITIES" your saying .. please help ... PM me..
