Greetings! I'm hoping to have fresh eyes on a cipher which I'm struggling to understand. Here it is:
0|・zmk-5h・tfa・h5a・rkl・g^.nf|・&yl・*5ty・1k9fa・tf|・ds|a
The results should be in English. The only clue is that each line is a sentence. With 44 unique characters, it can't be a simple substitution. I've considered that ・ and | could be either breaks between words or letter, but the second to the last line is what really has me curious. "h5a・h5a" is there, which would either be the same word twice in a row (very unusual!) or it would indicate a pair of letters.
I'd love to see what everyone else thinks about this unusual cipher!

Another clue:
6gj" is "The City lives."
