Ok, so should I feel like I have cheated if I have read through some of the message boards on specific levels (like 12)? Because they do help but at the same time I feel like I cheated now.

Don't worry; the forums are carefully screened for anything I deem to be too spoily.Killer Link Inc wrote:Ok, so should I feel like I have cheated if I have read through some of the message boards on specific levels (like 12)? Because they do help but at the same time I feel like I cheated now.

Don't let them fool you.DarkRaiser wrote:how can i determine the keys fooling me
This is a block of text that can be added to posts you make. There is a 255 character limit.
Re: Level 12
I feel like a prime fool. I figured out where to look for the key and what needed to be decoded immediately, but the two decoding hints within the code don't seem to make sense together (I tried just using a standard circular cypher codex, but x->c doesn't work out...ends up as w->c).
I must be missing part of the decoder. I assumed the word, [spoiler] was part of it (since the "i" and the "x" are used as the key), but that didn't help me either.
Aargh!
EDIT: AH! I just got it! For the record, that's a HOMONYM (not a HOMOPHONE). "Homophone" is a word that sounds the same, but is spelled differently. A "homonym" is a word that is spelled the same, but has a different meaning.
